When you are buying the different parts of a computer, the motherboard is one of the most important parts that you have to consider. Buying the wrong kind of motherboard would mean that you will have problems using it with the rest of the components on your computer since compatibility is one of the things that a motherboard relies on for the proper functioning of your computer. There are different types of motherboards that an individual can choose from and these are divided into categories. These usually range within $50 and they are best when someone wants to build an inexpensive machine for minimal use as this kind of motherboard does no support a lot  technical appliances and the CPU and memory units are too small for them to handle a lot of work. In fact, most of the motherboards on this price range are used for the much older CPUIs which everybody knows are less efficient especially ion the current modern day. 

The next types of motherboards you will encounter are those that have a price range of between $5o to about $ 100 and these are referred to as middle-of-the-road motherboards. This is a cheap way of making an office computer or one that you can use at home to perform simple tasks that do not require too much work.   If you do not want to spend a lot of money purchasing a computer that you will not be using for difficult task, assembling parts can be cheap and getting this kind of motherboard will allow you to have your own home built computer.
